Job summary:

As the Executive assistant (m/f/d) you will work directly with the Managing Director (MD) to help drive and execute business strategy and manage various stakeholders. You will support our MD in her day-to-day business activities, communication, and planning. Conducting research, preparing material for business decisions, designing narratives for public appearances, and engaging in interactions with the LIH teams. You will also organize travel, correspondence, and appearances within an international scope. Overall, you will help the MD to transport and amplify the purpose, strategy, mission and culture of LIH into the organization and various stakeholders. The role is based in Berlin and will report directly to the MD.

Responsibilities:

• You maintain the MDs calendar, coordinate domestic and international travel, arrange meetings as well as expense accounting.
• You create internal and external presentation material from scratch.
• You act as the sparring partner to our MD in the creation and development of ideas, plans and projects.
• You create, challenge and/or summarize material such as presentation, speaking notes and memos.
• You handle correspondence with internal and external stakeholders, filter incoming requests and keep the Managing Director informed on relevant matters.

Profiles:

• Degree in Business, Technology Management, Innovation, or equivalent.
• 2-3 years of relevant work experience in a fast-paced environment.
• High level of integrity and discretion towards sensitive information.
• Highly motivated and organized, understanding priority/urgency and reorganizing appropriately.
• Impeccable attention to detail.
• Proactive and a critical thinker.
• Extremely versatile, ability to multi-task and work effectively with minimal supervision.
• Entrepreneurial spirit and outstanding interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communicator in English and German (written and spoken).

Valuable additions:

• Experience in start-up, scale up, venture building or VC.
