Head of Business Development (m/f/d) – RYDES

We were born in the heart of Berlin to build a product for everybody who shares our passion of moving actively and loves experiencing the city and the world. It doesn’t matter if you take public transportation to get to work or university, an e-scooter to grab a coffee, a bike to meet your friends at the lake nearby or a taxi to your next party: RYDES is aiming to aggregate all different modes of transportation in one app, make them bookable and reward people for their loyalty to move around by offering discounts for their next trip. All of our team members are rebels of mobility, disrupt anything previously seen and challenge the status quo of existing mobility solutions in the market.

Where we need you:

  • You create a strategic Sales roadmap from scratch and fuel a pipeline to rapidly materialize our growth targets
  • You always keep your eyes open to identify and hunt for new business opportunities
  • You hire, mentor and develop your own team
  • You define the overall Sales targets and its KPIs in alignment with the CEO 
  • Based on your KPIs you frequently create reports to transparently show the actual performance status
  • You own, shape and implement efficient Sales processes
  • You develop a strong relationship with your customers and partners
  • You understand our customers problems and push their needs to the product lead

What we are looking for:

  • You have a strong background to sell both – B2B and B2C products
  • You can demonstrate a proven track record of successfully reaching and exceeding sales or/and business development revenues goals
  • You are a true leader always motivated by growing and developing your peers to relief the full potential of your team
  • You are a friendly and pleasant person but with a persistent negotiation style who never accepts a “no”
  • You are a born networker with an extroverted personality
  • You are a consultative seller based on data and insights
  • You are a CRM tool ninja who knows how to implement and use cloud based tools
  • You are fluent in English and German
