Job summary:

Intern Graphic Design (f/m/d)

As a graphic design intern you are an integral part of the Brand & Communications Team. You will work closely with our lead designer but at the same time will undertake your own design projects.

At the Lufthansa Innovation Hub (LIH), we see graphic design as a key vehicle to communicate and strengthen our brand. You will create digital and print assets, support in building up a brand design system and take care of the social media content creation.

You will be encouraged to work independently and be proactive in coming up with new creative ideas.

Responsibilities:

• Create (and further develop) branded assets for Lufthansa Innovation Hub brand
• Create assets for social media communication and develop new formats 
• Collaborate with the Brand & Communications team to develop and execute creative ideas that push the boundaries of LIH brand expression
• Support senior designers in developing brand expressions for a range of ventures and projects, bringing fresh ideas to the table
• Work closely with the Growth Marketing team to design marketing assets that reinforce the LIH brand and its ventures
• Engage with cross-functional teams to deliver designs that meet project goals and connect with target audiences

Profile:

• Have completed studies in the areas of graphic design, digital design or similar
• Availability of 6 months starting Sep/Oct
• Strong basic knowledge of Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Figma
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently, with a focus on meeting deadlines and taking ownership of tasks
• Pixel perfect attention to detail
• English Fluency
• Ambition to drive smaller projects independently
• Great stakeholder management and organizational skills

Valuable additions:

• Animation skills
• Photography and/or photo post production skills
• Prior work experience in a fast-paced environment 
• Touchpoints with travel (tech) and/or mobility
