Job Description:

This role is based in our Satellite office in Singapore .

Lufthansa Innovation Hub has expanded from Europe towards the world’s most dynamic Travel & Mobility Tech ecosystem, Asia.

Singapore is of particular importance being a frontrunner in Urban Mobility as well as headquarters of the Lufthansa Group APAC organization.

In your job you will support our Trend & Market Research analysts and our LIH ventures with a focus on the Asian Travel and Mobility Tech ecosystem. You maintain and expand our internal databases, eg you add relevant new startups in travel & mobility tech.

You ensure that our analyzes of venture capital flows in various segments are always up to date and research other interesting developments, such as funding rounds for interesting startups or the website & app performance of major players in the travel context (airlines or booking platforms).

You fill our venture ideation funnel with interesting new insights and ideas from Asia. You use our data tools, but you are not too bad for „desk research“ with Google. We also need your support in visualizing these findings (via PowerPoint, Tableau or Indesign).


● Bachelor’s degree or currently enrolled in business administration, statistics, marketing or other related fields
● Ideally first professional market research experience
● Ability to interpret large amounts of data, create reports and derive recommendations
● Knowledge of databases and/or statistics is an advantage, MS Office (especially Excel) is a must
● Entrepreneurial spirit and interest for venture creation
● Analytical skills to compile and analyze web performance data
● You are enthusiastic about travel and tech-savvy
● Fluent in English, bonus for any other Asian language or German
● Time for at least six months
● MUST be allowed to work in Singapore
