Creating and capturing value for Lufthansa Group beyond its core business of flying, the unit works closely with aviation experts of Lufthansa Group as well as field-proven talent from the Travel & Mobility Tech ecosystem on a global scale.

Job summary:

As a Working Student in our People & Organisation Team you will experience what is essential in active recruiting. After a short orientation phase you will be able to approach, select and interview candidates on your own responsibility and help to coordinate the recruiting process. This will give you a deep insight into the startup ecosystem and a good understanding of the respective talents. You take responsibility for filling challenging positions while accompanying our candidates throughout the entire recruiting process. 

Next to the independent steering of the applicant management you will also work and support on diverse conceptual P&O projects. You will have a high degree of creative freedom, operational flexibility and responsibility and will work within small and fast-moving interdisciplinary teams based in Berlin and Singapore.

The role is based in Berlin and will report to the Lead of our People & Organisation team.


  • You own the recruitment process end-to-end (draft job descriptions, post on suitable sourcing channels, review applications and get involved in active search)
  • You are an active part to shape our employee journey including; attraction/recruitment, on-/off-boarding, performance management, employee relations and company culture
  • You are a key contact to our candidates and guide them through the entire process to represent our unique culture 
  • You are part of strategic P&O projects relating to employee engagement, learning and development
  • You support to monitor necessary processes & tools to ensure an efficient Recruitment experience


  • Currently enrolled as a full time student in Business Administration with focus on Human Resources, Psychology and/or relevant fields
  • First professional work experience in Human Resources or Personnel Development
  • You enjoy participating in the entire recruitment process and shaping an amazing candidate experience
  • Solid knowledge of the start-up scene and enthusiasm for the latest tech trends
  • You are an energetic and an excellent team player with solution-oriented thinking and excellent communication skills
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Time for at least six months
