The Lufthansa Innovation Hub turns four

For four years now, we have been connecting the Lufthansa Group with the global start-up ecosystem. Last year was our most successful year so far. We advanced 23 projects, realized 4 partnerships, and systematically screened and classified our global playing field Travel & Mobility Tech. It’s time to look back on the highlights of the last 12 months.
JANUARY

January – We help the Lufthansa Group to make its first start-up investment.

Only 4% of IATA airlines have an API that allows startups to access airline data. The Lufthansa Open API is one of the first open data interfaces of an airline.

July – We become active in Asia and start to build new locations in two of the most dynamic Travel & Mobility Tech hotspots.
