Job summary:

We are looking for a (Junior) Learning Experience Program Manager (m/f/d) passionate about bringing innovation learning offers for Lufthansa Group to the next level. 

The LIH Transformation team’s mission is to build innovation into Lufthansa Group’s DNA and unlock tomorrow’s opportunities. As part of this endeavor, the team has a well-established learning portfolio – consisting of blended formats (immersive in-person, online and digital) – which aim to upskill Lufthansa Group employees and leadership on topics of trend- and digital literacy, innovation & intrapreneurship, leadership and cultural transformation. 

You will take on the role of managing our learning portfolio, from the end-to-end coordination of learning journeys, to provide the best learner experience possible. We believe that ‘learning is not an event’ so while this will include the planning and coordination of in-person formats, it also means co-development of digital self-directed learning supports and management of learning communities that accompany the learner long after they leave a training session.

Our learning initiatives are aimed at LHG collaborators who want to test and implement new ideas in LHG. We focus on teaching skillsets and growing mindsets necessary to nurture innovative organizations. As such, we are looking for a person who is passionate about creating impactful learning experiences for various seniority levels within Lufthansa Group.

The position is in Berlin with hybrid working and occasional personal presence at Lufthansa Group locations in Frankfurt am Main, Munich, Vienna and Zurich as required.

 

Responsibilities:

  • End-to-end co-ordination of the whole learner’s journey across all 5 E’s of Experience Design (Excitement, Entry, Engagement, Exit, Extension). This involves activities from promotion, participant management, event management, preparation of learning resources, and community management, with the goal of making the learner’s experience joyful and seamless
  • Ongoing relationship management with internal stakeholders (e.g. LHG Innovation Teams, LHG learning team, decision makers, HR specialists) for learning needs, concept development, training administration and marketing activities
  • Designing and Implementing communication and marketing efforts with regard to the various learning offerings for different platforms (e.g. LinkedIn, Lufthansa Group Intranet)
  • Managing and professionalizing existing and new learning assets across all formats (MIRO whiteboards, video nuggets, LIH digital learning platform)
  • Owning impact measurement process through qualitative and quantitative measures and translation into impact for Lufthansa Group and LIH

 

Profile:

  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience in Learning & Development either in the corporate or start-up context, ideally with particular focus on digital transformation, innovation and/or leadership transformation
  • Organizational wizard with a creative mindset and desire to provide extraordinary learning experiences with reliable ownership and great attention to detail
  • Strong social and professional competence in order to build and manage sustainable communities
  • Passion for developing your own perspectives on a broad range of topics
  • A team player with a hands-on mentality
  • Working proficiency in German and English (C-Level)
